We apperciate moneytary donations. Each Individual understands the costs of living; shelter, food, water, heat, electricity and clothing each of these luxeries come with a price.It all adds up far too quickly sometimes, and for many people its a struggle to make the payments. Shelters deal with financial challenges every day, many depend on fundraising and personal donaters just to keep operating. Regardless if our economy is up or down, people who are need of help have found their way to any shelter needing the continued generosity of others for food, shelter and clothing. .
We appreciate food donations. all three of our main programs include meals with it. Each program consists of a foods program; with the night shelter we provide dinner and breakfast 365 days a year. With our daily drop in centre we provide lunch 3 times a week in the fall and winter and 6 days a week in the spring and summer usually feeding between 60-120 people. With the transitional housing program we provide three meals that the patrons make on their own. There are 11 men and 3 women able to live in the transitional housing program.
Clothing becomes an essential to all people, because clothing is such an expense it becomes hard for our patrons to be dressed according to weather, and be dressed in clothes that are not damaged. We appreciate clothing donations of all sizes as well as shoe donations. Clean socks, and undergarments.
